Get ready for a post-Labor Day street party! “Crush in Old Town” is back for its 11th year with something for everyone. Highlights of this year’s happening are:
- Wines, and wine tasting tents.
- Then there’s a new ingredient in 2013: Special macaroni dishes prepared for Crush in Old Town and sold by several of the neighborhood’s restaurants.
These include: Fireplace Inn, Kamehachi, Dinotto Ristorante, Orso’s, Adobo Grill and O’Briens. (Visitors will also be able to text vote for their favorite macaroni dish at the fest.)
- Add to the fest mix craft beers, the works of juried artists, and a kids’ crafts activity area.
Tastings will be held in tented areas at the fest from Noon-8:00 p.m. on Saturday; Noon-7:00 p.m. on Sunday. Passes cost $40 in advance; $45 on-site and allow you to sample up to 15 beers or wines.
